Warehouse racking installation in Brisbane

What it costs, what the rules are, and how to pick who does it.

What does racking cost?

Priced per bay, and the bay is decided by pallet weight and beam height.

What are the safety requirements?

A load sign on every run, and an inspection at the interval the standard sets.

How do you choose an installer?

Ask what happens at handover, and who signs the load sign off.

What it is

Search is two jobs, and most sites only do one.

Technical SEO

Whether a search engine can read the site at all. Pages that answer, redirects that point somewhere, headings that describe what is on the page, and links that reach every page you want found. None of it shows on screen. All of it decides whether the rest of the work counts.

Content SEO

Whether the page answers the question that was typed. Not the phrase repeated back, the question underneath it: what it costs, whether it is allowed, who does it well. A page that answers properly is the one that keeps the visitor.

How it runs

In the order the film shows it.

  1. 1

Read the site the way a crawler does

Every page fetched, every status recorded, every redirect followed. What comes back is a list of pages that cannot be found, pages that moved without saying so, and pages nothing links to.

  2. 2

Fix what stops it being read

Redirects pointed at live pages, titles and headings that describe the page, and internal links so nothing is stranded. This is the half that has to happen first, because nothing after it counts until it does.

  3. 3

Find what is actually being searched

The phrase people type, and the questions around it. Grouped by what the person wanted, not by keyword volume, because a page has to answer a person.

  4. 4

Write the page that answers it

One page per question worth answering, with the question in the heading and the answer under it. Then the internal links that connect it to everything related.

  5. 5

Measure it against enquiries, not rankings

A ranking is not a customer. What matters is which searches produced a phone call, and AKG sells the tracking that answers that whether or not it sells you the search work.

Worth knowing

What nobody tells you before you buy it.

It is slow

Search work is measured in months. If the answer is needed this quarter, paid search answers faster and the two are usually run together, with the paid results telling you which searches are worth writing a page about.

Nobody can promise a position

Anybody who quotes you a ranking is quoting something they do not control. What can be committed to is the work: the faults fixed, the pages written, the links built, and a number at the end that says what search produced.

Thirty minutes, and you will know whether it is worth doing.

A look at how your site reads today, which searches your customers actually use, and an honest answer on whether search or paid is the faster route for you.
